Curatorial

From 2016 to 2022, I worked as both Assistant Curator and Curator at Focal Point Gallery in Southend-on-Sea. Working collaboratively with colleagues, I was able to work on the  creative direction, development, and production of all areas of the exhibitions and public programme. This included ambitious gallery exhibitions, digital commissions, publications, events, public art and additional strategic or institutional partnership projects. This also included curating and coordinating Big Screen Southend; a permnanent outdoor video facility located adjacent to the gallery through which a year-round programme of moving image works were presented.

Migrating Origins was an online project curated with Warren Harper at Temporary Arts Project (TAP), in association with SoSLUG in 2014. The project commissioned two new works including colocation, time displacement (2014) by Yuri Pattison and  Ashiato / 足跡  (2014) by Harry Sanderson. Find out more about the project here.
